Just finished making a pair of nifty goggles for a friend for the holidays. I started out with the intention of making a replica of Dr. Horrible's goggles (as the recipient is OBSESSED); but after realizing there's no way I could do any plaster/metal work, these were made. They're way awesome, and I only wish that I didn't have to give them away tomorrow.
(And if you will see the bottom right photo, you'll notice my terribly silly Myspace-esque shot.  )Dr. Horrible copyright Joss Whedon. ([link] -- go watch it; it's incredible.) Ridiculous amounts of help...and the idea of making the goggles in the first place...from a tutorial for Steampunk Goggles made by the Amazing  -- go look at his stuff; it's also incredible. |
